On Monday we finished our exchange with the Carpentry Department. It was great to learn a new skill and to share ours with their department.
The cabinet in the pictures is 28″ tall, 18″ wide, and 13″ deep. What we learned in constructing this one bay can be applied to making one or a whole bank of cabinets. The carcase is finished plywood, the frames around the front and sides are solid cherry, as is the top and the scotia molding. The side panels are 1/8″ maple plywood held in place under beading.
